Meet Dr. Norris S. Golberg...

Dr. Norris S. Golberg comes from generations of Doctors and Nurses and has always been interested in the human body and its natural ability to be healthy if given the opportunity!

Dr. Norris graduated from the University of Rhode Island with an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, and after some world traveling he started a career as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, while he simultaneously pursued a career as a semi-professional rugby player. It was through rugby that Dr. Norris discovered Chiropractic.  He enrolled at Life University in Atlanta, where he was awarded a scholarship to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree while playing for their National Championship rugby team.

In his first year of school, Dr. Norris met Dr. Jordon Cooper when Dr. Cooper came to Life University to teach a seminar on the Pierce Results System (PRS). Dr. Norris, who had learned and practiced many different techniques of Chiropractic, knew immediately the Pierce Results System was the most objective and analytical approach in caring for the full spine and his patient’s health.

In his post graduate studies Dr. Norris has learned and practices N.U.C.C.A, which is an advanced form of analysis and adjusting of Atlas (C1) aka the Crainocervical Junction. Between P.R.S. and N.U.C.C.A, Dr. Norris is one of only a handful of doctors in Colorado, let alone the country with this specialized approach, which he knows are the best techniques for spinal correction.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic and a

Masters Degree in Exercise Science, Dr. Norris joined Dr. Cooper at

Cooper Chiropractic, one of the largest family practices in North East Florida.

After two amazing and successful years of practice at Cooper Chiropractic, Dr. Norris and his wife, Amy, moved to Colorado to pursue their dreams of living near the Rocky Mountains and living an outdoors lifestyle.

Together, their vision is for Koru Chiropractic to be a leader in chiropractic corrective and wellness care by using the latest state of the art technology and proven chiropractic techniques, and by raising awareness about health and the benefits of neurological based chiropractic corrective care, as well as empowering people with the knowledge to live a healthy and active lifestyle under specific chiropractic care.

As a licensed Chiropractor with advanced training in the Pierce Results System for spinal correction, NUCCA for upper cervical spinal care, as well as other specific techniques, Dr. Norris’ neurologically based corrective care is very gentle and specific with no twisting, cracking or popping.

...and Our Chiropractic Assistants...

Shannon is a Colorado native who joined the team at Koru Chiropractic in October of 2018. Shannon has her Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Health Care and is dedicated to helping her community achieve balance and health through lifestyle changes and natural healing methods. She has been under consistent Chiropractic care since birth and became passionate about pursuing a career in Chiropractic after seeing the effect that it had on her personal health.

Shannon will be starting graduate school for Chiropractic in 2021 and is honored to have the opportunity to learn from Dr. Norris before embarking upon this journey. Before joining the team at Koru Chiropractic, Shannon was the Lead Sensory Motor Coach at Brain Balance Achievement Centers and a dance instructor at Gravity Dance Collective. She is a member of Esmé Dance Company and believes that movement and artistic expression are other integral aspects of optimal health and healing. Shannon is also working to become a certified Wellness Coach.

Stephanie has always been an advocate of regular chiropractic care because of the body’s innate ability to self-heal. She joined the team after several months of being under Dr. Norris’s care to support him in his community outreach endeavors to reach more individuals and families with neurologically based care. Stephanie has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and has extensive background in both real estate and property management. In her free time she loves to travel, ride her bike, eat well and do lots of yoga! Namaste

Stephanie is another Colorado Native excited to contribute to our community's health and wellness. She first experienced Koru Chiropractic as a practice member, and after many years under consistent chiropractic care, she had yet to be under neurologically-based chiropractic care, and was quickly amazed by the results!
